The Role:

The Industrial Engineer, Operations Excellence will use fundamental engineering concepts, practices, and procedures to analyze, optimize all operational functions related to our in-home primary care services.  The role is responsible for the analysis, documentation and optimization of operational practices/procedures and identify performance improvement opportunities.  Industrial engineer will implement technology solutions/systems that drive business objectives including multi-state growth.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supports specific logistics systems, operational processes, and clinical services for in-home primary care model

  • Analyze end-to-end workflow, identifying process improvements, best practices for standardization and maintain continuous process improvement initiatives.

  • Analyze and implement vendor solutions for performance optimization

  • Supports the development and design of new locations, operational workflows, and equipment

  • Leader of operations research, planning and analysis

  • Researches, designs, develops, deploys, and/or supports new and current technology solutions to improve performance and reduce operating costs

  • Leads cross-functional project teams responsible for implementing new technology or continuous process improvement solutions

  • Collaborate across ops, engineering, hardware, technicians, data analytics, quality, and other teams to execute process flows and optimization strategies

  • Utilizes engineering tools and software to analyze data and answers basic engineering questions

  • Researches, analyzes, and effectively consolidates technical or engineering related information and presents for management review

  • Prepares accurate expenditure proposals and/or cost justification analysis

  • Formulates and presents document research, progress, and results to team members and internal customers

  • Applies project management fundamentals and concepts

  • Creates new market playbook for growth/expansion to new markets

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of industrial engineering/continuous improvement

  • Prior experience in Consulting, Lean Six Sigma, Lean Warehousing Facilitation of Process

  • Prior experience managing high-impact projects

  • Strong analytical problem solving, critical thinking skills and ability to analyze, review, and make recommendations

  • Software skills, including use of Microsoft Office software and web-based applications

  • Verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate with all levels of management

  • Presentation skills necessary to facilitate training and/or deliver informational sessions to groups and/or individuals

  • Time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills necessary to work in a fast-paced environment, handling various tasks and changing priorities, while maintaining a high attention to detail and accuracy to achieve daily assignments and goals

  • Comfortable operating dynamic startup environment with an evolving project scope

  • Capable of working independently and communicating multi-functionally through all levels of the organization

  • Experience in rideshare, mobility, fleet management, or at a startup or tech company

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Manufacturing/Industrial/Mechanical/Aerospace/General Engineering, or related field

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
