Job Summary

The successful candidate will work in finance team and will be responsible for the optimization of (indirect) procurement to ensure NHV has effective processes in place to meet the needs of our business whilst ensuring positive contribution to sustainable value creation. Be a change agent and driving relentless execution of procurement opportunities.

Respons. & areas

  • Report to VP Finance, you will work on setting up internal procurement organization, implementing & refining procurement strategies for various categories i.e., fuel, airport services, contractors, consultants, real estate, lodging, transportation, leasing contracts, etc… with the aim to optimize and control cost of suppliers with respect to our business needs.
  • Take part in supply related projects from analytics to tendering, contract negotiations and implementation.
  • Manage daily operations with suppliers including ordering, tracking of order fulfilment, complaint management and supplier performance management.
  • Involve in operational consulting, basic category management, process & compliance, training, and support for internal customers.
  • Manage the direct relationship with internal and external stakeholders and provide operational support for key meetings and events in the business and closely connected with internal customers as a trusted advisor that generates value for NHV.

Experience

  • Master’s degree and/or Certified Purchasing Manager (or equivalent).
  • Good understanding of financial analysis, strategic analysis, trained negotiation skills and project management
  • Good understanding of procurement / strategic commodity management preferred.
  • English is mandatory and 1 other language (Spanish, France, Dutch, German) would be a plus

Skills

  • 5+ years relevant working experience in multiple direct or indirect procurement categories with an international scope
  • Sourcing/Supply Chain certifications or training is desired.
  • Experience in commodity analysis/supplier management/project management roles.
  • Experience developing, negotiating, and implementing commercial contracts, including supply and service agreements.
  • Experience working with & developing strong relationships with multiple stakeholders to deliver results.
  • Project management capability and experience.
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
