In Belgium we are currently looking for a MyHR / HR Generalist to join our team!

The MyHR position is a HR Generalist role and manages the day-to-day tier 1 & 2 employee & manager interactions and execution of lifecycle HR processes, for 7 Air Products locations in Belgium (2 sites in Vilvoorde/Gent/Diegem/Zolder/Keumiee/Tertre).

The position serves as the “face of HR” to the general population of employees and managers, and therefore plays a critical role in the development and evolution of the Air Products employee experience

The MyHR / HR Generalist will;
  • Act as a daily point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures and programs
  • Manage tier 1 & 2 employee & manager inquiries, requests & cases on the broad scope of HR-topics. Responds with accurate resolution upon first contact, or, if necessary, conducts the appropriate investigation and/or research to identify and present the appropriate resolution. If needed the MyHR-BE escalates request to MyHR process teams CoEs or HR Partners
  • Maintain HR files and databases, preparing and analyzing reports for management reporting and discussion purposes
  • Identify opportunities for increased efficiency and leads process improvement initiatives
  • Liaise with the group insurance provider in case of specific requests, such as pension files,… on day to day HR matters.
  • Understand processes related to compensation & benefits in order to be able to assist employees and managers (e.g. warrants, pension plan, medical plan,…) and liaise with Payroll and CoEs.
  • Liaise with Payroll on day-to-day payroll enquiries.
  • Support direct access transactions in HR systems for managers/employees and ensure guidance is provided when needed to further adoption of these processes
  • Liaise with Talent Acquisition on ongoing recruitments in Belgium and assist where needed.
  • Liaise with the HR Partner to manage on boarding documents for new joiners.
  • Execute & support life-cycle day-to-day HR processes, manage associated knowledge & content.
  • Ensure consistency and application of procedure and implements best practices in BE work processes.
  • Participate in local projects based on local legislation
  • Work collaboratively within the Global MyHR team on projects to continuously improve the employee experience.
You have a Bachelor's degree or Master degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience, with a good knowledge of Belgian HR policies and procedures, and have affinity with HR hard skills.
You are fluent in Dutch and French (both oral and written) and you are highly motivated and detail-oriented with good organizational skills. You work pro-active and you are able to keep a good overview in a structured manner.

Responsible for managing tier 1 & 2 employee & manager questions/interactions and execution of lifecycle HR processes, the ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong interpersonal skills. Competent, resourceful and with a passion for HR, your goal will be to ensure the HR department’s operations run smoothly and effectively. Knowledge of Workday is a big plus.

Attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines, while prioritizing workload. Excellent IT skills, and ability to learn new systems. Ambitious, with a desire to learn and improve processes and systems

Your profile:
  • Bachelor's degree or Master degree in Human Resources or relevant field.
  • You will have a background in a similar role, preferable in an international, industrial environment.
  • Fluent in Dutch / French / English
  • Can-do-attitude, great communication skills
  • Accurate and result oriented
