To strengthen our IT team in the Brussels Area we are looking to fill the position of a IT Health Innovation Lead, accelerating and innovating the use of patient level health data as a key component for translational and personalized medicines.

You will contribute by these responsibilities:

• 
  Analyze, pilot and compare new technology options and express the impact and value they represent for patients, their health and UCB’s early, development and post launch research activities
• Drive and manage selected initiatives, delivering innovative IT in a variety of domains, bringing your project management, communication and influencing skills, together with your “can-do” attitude
• Organize the operations & processes of (real world) data analysis and data management platforms
• Inspire your colleagues and decision makers by showing them new capabilities and innovative uses of technology
• Build thought leadership on population health, data standards and relevant regulations

Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:

• 
  You have a master’s degree in (bio-)engineering, life sciences, computer sciences or informatics and have at least 3-5 years of experience in either consulting, the pharmaceutical or the healthcare sector
• You can hold your own in a fast evolving technology landscape and are comfortable discussing aspects like cloud, analytics, open-source and data management
• You have experience with the establishing and running of technology solutions
• Experience in the healthcare/pharmaceutical sector or real world patient data solutions are a big plus.
• You can break down complex problems and structure arguments, options and solutions
• You are a great communicator and story teller, able to work with and influence people with different personalities, expertise and backgrounds
• You are eager to learn and not afraid to get your hands dirty when delving into new technology
• You thrive in a fast paced, changing environment, can switch between abstract and concrete solutions and can propose actionable next steps
• You have proven experience in managing multiple projects and setting priorities
• You are relentless in Quality, you build trust and confidence
• You are fluent in English
