What you will do for Siemens Smart Infrastructure:

As the Global Service Operations and Development Manager - Security Systems, you lead collaboration across Global and Region headquarters to develop and implement Standard tools and processes that continuously improve Service business performance within the Security Business. You enable the Regions’ successful execution of all required service operations activities to achieve revenue, profit, cost, employee efficiency and customer satisfaction goals.

Remote; work from home; with Global travel into four regions - Americas, Europe, Germany, and Middle East Asia. Selected candidate will be employed within resident Country or established Visa Country.

Responsibilities:

  • Owner of complete End to End service delivery within Security Business for optimization and digitalization of process and standards.
  • Partner with Region Headquarters, Digital Service Centers, Global Headquarters (Leads in Portfolio, Tools, Process, and Data) to create and implement standard, scalable and cost competitive service delivery processes recognized as innovative, employee efficient and customer centric.
  • Develop and implement required Tasks with estimated time durations and job execution roles for new Portfolio offerings. Owner of service execution readiness of each offering.
  • Continuously improve End to End service delivery that balances productivity and customer satisfaction. Modernize and Standardize Tasks and time estimates across Regions.
  • Identify productivity improvements and liaison with Technology team to realize innovative offerings and more automated End to End service delivery.
  • Content expert & advocate for the training and development of Service employees.
  • Align “local” operational differences and minimize “local” service tools and processes to enable cost effective scaling. Globally Standardize the best tools and practices.
  • Owns Region communities for best practice sharing and adoption.

Required Knowledge Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or Engineering with 10+ years of experience in the Service business industry.
  • Absence of Bachelor’s degree requires 15+ years of experience in the Service business industry.
  • Experience leading multiple projects at a given time, ensuring adherence to process, monitoring progress, and directing implementation to successful adoption.
  • Experience within "Security Systems" product portfolio and tool landscape.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding company goals for assigned position.
  • Ability to manage by influence and drive the performance of the Regions to achieve company goals.
  • Possess expert skills, experience, and knowledge to be a Trusted Advisor with Region and Corporate headquarters employees, as well as customers.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and manage the dynamics of a complex and global organization.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, communication and presentation skills.
  • Works independently with minimal supervision.

  • Preferred employee’s residing time zone shares a minimum 2-3 working hours of the Central European Time (UTC) Zone to collaborate with majority of colleagues during the 8am-5pm workday. Travel is expected.
