In this way, bonds and derivatives are closed and processed.

As our functional analyst for markets, you join a team that manages a range of applications for these activities. You will predominantly be committed to Murex and Sophis, two ground-breaking software packages that are used in dealing rooms around the globe. These environments are constantly evolving. Together with business stakeholders and developers, you shape these evolutions.

Expect a challenging job in which you translate business needs into a functional design to create a bridge between users and your technical colleagues.

• You transform business requirements into a functional design. In doing so, you contribute to the further development and optimisation of the Murex and Sophis software packages.
• You perform functional analyses of the end-to-end processing using the Murex system. This includes all links, workflows, processes and products.
• You participate in projects where you collaborate with the Business side of the bank. Your focus in these projects is on process and business analyses, setting up workflows, parameterisation, programming, testing, implementation and last but not least, user training. Users include dealers and traders from the back office, and the front offices in Brussels, foreign branches and at affiliates.
