Full Stack .NET Developer

Description

Coordinate Solutions is actively seeking a Senior-level Full Stack .NET Developer with experience in developing, maintaining, and deploying custom projects using Microsoft .NET and ASP.NET Core Frameworks. This role has flexibility for part-time or full-time availability, depending on project development cycles. Those searching for continuous 40-hour work weeks should not apply.

The candidates chosen for this role will work alongside team members in an agile environment and apply technical, analytical and communication skills towards producing and maintaining secure, high quality, database-driven web application and web services using C## .NET and web technologies. Candidates must have experience in both coding and operations-specific skills such as infrastructure management and system administration.

This contract position is 100% remote-based. Minimal travel (once or twice a year) may be requested. For this position, we’re looking for candidates anywhere in the United States, with a preference for applicants working within the Central and Eastern time zones. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. and Coordinate Solutions will not be able to offer visa sponsorship for this role.

Preference will be given to candidates who are able to provide sample documentation that demonstrates the required skillsets.

Job Responsibilities

The following is a summary of the essential functions for this role. Specific activities may change depending upon the project.

• Managing Agile iterative and incremental development projects
• Managing internal project applications such JIRA, Confluence and GitHub
• Translating business requirements into technical solutions
• Maintaining a high level of software quality
• Successfully implementing development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews
• Configuring and maintaining test environments
• Assisting clients with product releases to test and production environments
• Troubleshooting environment issues in both Coordinate Solutions test environments and client test and production environments. This includes identifying and resolving issues related to security, performance, load balancing, and configuration
• Establishing and maintaining continuous integration
• Establishing and maintaining site certificates
• Preparing code documentation in support of program development
• Preparing training documentation in support of program development
• Managing systems project timelines as they relate to programming
• Keeping abreast of new technology developments
• Designing and working with complex data models
• All other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
• Experience in required frameworks:

• Experience with web-based GIS applications using OpenLayers, ArcGIS Server, and Geoserver preferred
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge of industry best practices
• Ability to provide detailed specifications for the development of complex system components
• Excellent Verbal and written communications skills
