Full-stack Java developer

We are a software company active in the veterinary sector (www.sonetas.eu), located in the center of Antwerp. Our products run in the cloud and are fully based on open source software. To grow further, we are looking for a full-stack Java developer.

As a full-stack Java developer you perform both backend and frontend work, in collaboration with our graphic designer. You will independently develop, implement and test new functionalities and modules. This requires a sense of responsibility and rigor and returns satisfaction.

Whilst developing you always pay sufficient attention to the graphic design and user-friendliness of the user interface. You give your own input and you ensure that everything in the front-end is well displayed on every device.

It is possible to work full-time, part-time as well as on a freelance basis. Not through agencies.

• You have a bachelor's or master's degree in ICT or engineering
• You have demonstrable experience with CentOS, Ubuntu, MySQL, Java, Hibernate, Tomcat, Apache libraries, Javascript, DWR, jQuery, Jasper Reports, iText, ImageMagick, Rest (and Soap) web services (Jersey, Axis), Html5, CSS, Phonegap, etc.
• You are meticulous, responsible and independent
• You have a good knowledge of English and Dutch or French
