We are looking for a new colleague in our R&D and Product Engineering department at our location in Ypres, Belgium.

Front-End Developer

As a Front-End developer, you’ll be part of a small motivated fullstack team constructing new innovative digital solutions for transport fleets.

Possessing a flair and passion for user experience, you’ll build responsive, data-centric rich web applications, using the latest Javascript frameworks.

Your tasks:

• Working with the Product team to build products from proof of concept to production for ZF’s product catalogue
• Continuous improvement in developing, maintaining & enhancing responsive client-side web applications
• Design and developing robust, high quality sustainable code
• Engage with Software Development methodologies such as Scrum/ Kanban to collaborate, deliver and report during the sprint

Your profile:

• Computer Science degree or equivalent
• 5+ years of strong frontend experience, with the modern JavaScript Frameworks (at least 2 years with React.JS) and advanced HTML and CSS experience (2 years professionally)
• Experience with ES6 / Typescript and knowledge of all aspects of responsive UI development is preferred
• Experienced with design systems, storybook, consuming web REST APIs, AWS API Gateway are a nice to have
• Must have a passion for technology, eager to learn new emerging web technologies to drive innovation and quality, strong analytical mindset and excellent communication skills (in English)
