Then you might be the right person for this finance and support function manager.

You would work for a Belgian sales subsidiary part of an International Group.

Your responsibilities

I'll take you through this variety of tasks/responsibilities: 

FINANCE:

  • You will prepare a monthly executive summary of the financial performance.
  • Using Business Intelligence tools (SAP Analytics/Power Bi) to provide internal and external reportings with a focus on creating useful insights.
  • You focus on analyzing and challenging the gross margin: what can be improved regarding pricing, margins and costs?
  • Together with the General Manager you determine SMART objectives for the sales teams.
  • On a monthly basis you provide the General Manager and the sales teams with an updated dashboard showing the progress of the SMART objectives.
  • Monthly cost analysis vs budget and pro-actively advise on optimization opportunities
  • You will provide support on trade-conditions calculations, rebate follow-up and simulation, bonus simulation and calculation.
  • Prepare ad-hoc business cases
  • You are the contact point for all specific accounting and tax questions.
  • The section of Finance requires a focus on controlling.

 

HR:

  • You will manage and instruct the external social partner and control their services: payroll, absences and leaves, meal vouchers, …
  • You actively participate in the set-up of new HR processes with our external partners.
  • Be the contact point for legal advice with our external lawyer.
  • Manage the fleet with our external partner
  • You will do the facility management of our rented building.

 

IT:

  • You are the SPOC for our ERP system (SAP) and our CRM (Microsoft Dynamics”.
  • You will manage the hardware with support of our freelancer in collaboration with our IT shared service center.
  • Interact with our local IT providers. 

 

but don't worry, you're not alone. In HR, support is provided by an external partner and for IT by a freelancer.

Your profile

  • You have a master's degree in Finance and Economics
  • You have up to 5 years experiance. Preferably you have worked in a complex audit environment and completed a first experience as business controller
  • You have a business partner mindset, always eager to provide the General Manager with insights enabling him to take the right decisions to grow the business.
  • You have an in-depth knowledge of SAP and PowerBi. You have affinity with IT and you choose for pragmatic approaches.
  • As a person you describe yourself as: precisecuriouspro-activestructured and with an analytical mindset.
  • You can work in a matrix-environment.
