In this role, you will:

  • Responsible and accountable for performing and delivering analyses and/or leading analytical teams to produce feasibility analytics external/internal benchmarking, competitive landscape, country tiering, site profiles, and enrollment modeling to be incorporated into the larger Feasibility strategy at scale for every clinical trial assigned
  • Ultimately responsible for validating, checking and handling the accurate and complete production of analytical packages through internal teams and vendor teams
  • Coordinate with Global Feasibility Leads on insights that should be exemplified and highlighted and connect the data with application to trial operational design and efficiency
  • Provide intelligence regarding program planning, protocol design, country and site placement, and enrollment modelling utilizing approaches through data to influence optimized approaches to clinical trial execution
  • Function as a System Matter Specialist for operational feasibility data, methodologies and systems for internal and external customers
  • Drive the implementation and improvement of initiatives/processes/technologies to optimize supply/demand, prioritization across the capability, maximizing productivity and timely delivery of important insights
  • Collect and report on clinical trial performance metrics regarding trial placement, optimization, and enrollment
  • Track efficiencies resulting from the implementation of new technology initiatives related to study placement and enrollment tracking
  • Effectively partner with CROs to establish and follow operational enrollment technology and operational business processes
  • Stay informed and bring information of clinical trial optimizing trends within focused Therapeutic Area (TA)s, data analytics, and technologies and promote critical metrics to influence optimizing behavior
  • Establish data analytics methodologies for operational and feasibility insights
  • Coordinate with and support Feasibility Data Sciences to grow and create data-generated insights and visualizations
  • Support the Analytics Head in program and protocol planning results such as recruitment rates, site numbers, enrollment estimates, country footprint, startup timelines, impact of protocol criteria, and site and patient profiles.
  • Ensure appropriate partner concern of technology & vendor issues as needed
  • Follows feasibility business processes and supports continuous improvement activities
  • Support clinical operations roles early in the development cycle providing initial enrollment timelines, High Level Budget (Op Plan)
  • Develop partnerships with FCOE Feasibility Leads, internal and external partners to identify robust and efficient methods to perform the analytical packages
  • Support Analytics Head to streamline core analytics through the development and application of robust, standard approaches
  • Establish a portfolio driven approach to deliver Feasibility strategy and related investments
  • Lead cross team to deliver E2E Study level Core feasibility analytic package, including coordinating the execution, compilation of analytics and insights and delivering readouts to Global Feasibility Heads and Leads
  • Use analytics tools, data science, clinical trial experience as well as epidemiological and health outcomes experience to perform standard analytics and interpretation in the clinical trial feasibility and operational insights space
  • Partner with DSCI to understand cutting edge RWE based sophisticated analytics to support feasibility processes

Qualifications
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required. An advanced degree in data-heavy sciences (physics, genetics, biology, data engineering) or related is preferred
  • 4+ years of proven experience in clinical trial execution, applied technology, or business operations is required
  • 2+ years Data Analytics experience with a proven track record of success for driving forward large initiatives by generating consensus, leading multiple sophisticated projects, and continuously completing excellent quality analytics is required
  • Experience in leading mixed teams with a proven track record to champion team productivity and cohesiveness
  • Ability to infer and apply data insights to optimize a strategy or scenario
  • Understanding and experience with analytical and modelling tools (e.g. specialist user of Excel, DVSO, Monte Carlo Simulation) and an understanding of basic statistical and analytical principles
  • Strong Project management and organizational skills with ability to lead and execute multiple projects simultaneously is highly preferred
  • Specialist in clinical trial operational datasets such as CTMS and operational benchmarks
  • Confident working independently, with limited guidance, self-reliant with the ability to deliver robust, timely, high-quality analytics
  • Excellent communicator with great Excel, PowerPoint skills, regularly construct compelling slides, and deliver focused, concise, clear and timely data and technology assessments to Feasibility and leadership team
  • Experience working with analytical tools, large datasets, understanding of data analysis workflows
  • Validated Excel, SQL or related programming experience and a specialist at pulling and assessing data assets for operational data analytics
  • Deep understanding of standard analytical methods and hands-on experience working with them in the clinical trial feasibility domain
  • Solid understanding of the changing ecosystem of external data such as real-world data, and publicly available data assets that would benefit a clinical operations data science team
  • Experience or deep understanding with data science and analytics, especially machine learning, data analytics, decision science, operations research and clinical trial feasibility, data modeling, and/or data engineering
