My client is an International Federation active in the marketing sector located in the city center of Brussels

Job Description

  • Actively listening to members and identifying their needs.
  • Providing information on membership fees, policies, processes, benefits, products, and services.
  • Recommending and cross-selling products and services to members and potential members.
  • Investigating and resolving or escalating membership and payment issues.
  • Answering phone calls and written questions, concerns, and complaints regarding membership.
  • Assessing member eligibility and processing payments, applications, and requests.
  • Documenting all inquiries and maintaining accurate membership records within the CRM.
  • Manage the member services inbox and divert emails to relevant team members.
  • Seek to refine and streamline administrative processes.
  • To carry out other membership administrative duties as required.
  • Undertake additional duties and training as required by the Director of Membership Services.
  • This role will require travel, overnights stays and weekend working in line with business needs.

The Successful Applicant

  • 2-3 years' work experience in a member services role.
  • Knowledge and experience of membership organisations.
  • Previous work within a sponsorship or fundraising position.
  • Customer service experience required.
  • Experience with CRM.
  • Sales experience beneficial.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good listening and interpersonal skill
  • A multicultural profile, speaks ideally one additional language;
  • Proactive and committed, able to work autonomously and as part of a team but take responsibility for projects and drive them forward;
  • An outgoing, open personality, reliable, rigorous, excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
