Due to their substantial success, our client is looking for a EMEA Supply Chain Control Manager with a strong focus on Supply Chain, to reinforce the EMEA Inventory Control team and maintain their leading global position.

Your responsibilities

As EMEA Supply Chain Control Manager your focus will be focusing on leading and managing your team while thriving for operational and business excellence on the EMEA Inventory control processes.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead the inventory control teams (20FTE) with a people first mindset to help develop each individual in the team to their maximum potential.
  • Design and implement new inventory operating models, processes and systems to strive to the ultimate operational excellence for the business. You’ll continuously seek improvement opportunities and explore new and innovating technologies to stay ahead of competitors.
  • Create a strong inventory control environment throughout the company where you’ll partner with and educate key business partners on inventory management.
  • Develop a strong partnership with distribution to drive accountability and visibility over inventory adjustments impacting the financial statements and evaluate business impacts.
  • Create an inventory validation strategy for all logistics service providers throughout the EMEA region, where you’ll drive to increase visibility on all inventory adjustments.
  • Influence the company by developing and executing global policies and initiatives on Inventory validation policies.

Your profile

  • Master degree and a solid track of minimum 5 years’ of experience in a managerial position in an FMCG environment and a strong link to Inventory Management;
  • Proven people manager with excellent communication skills and at ease with communicating on different levels within an organization and being able to motivate others and bringing teams to the next level;
  • True problem-solver with strong analytical and strategic capabilities to take the department to the next level;
  • Strong business acumen and maturity, able to create buy-in on different levels;
  • Fluent in English and Dutch
