JOB TITLE: Data Analyst Assistant

DEPARTMENT: Distribution

SHIFT: Day shift – 37 hours per week

WORKING PATTERN: Monday to Friday

JOB SUMMARY

This position plays a key role in understanding and analyzing each logistics part of the business - from goods receiving to order shipping. The Data Analyst Assistant implements analysis into tools (such as Tableau Software), develops and monitors KPI’s and creates connections between the various sources currently used (between specific software and our current ERP or WMS for example).

This person will be a solid support to the development and the duplication of reports in new ERP and WMS systems.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Combining various sources

2. Provide relevant information at accurate time, as well as consistent reports and analysis

3. Deliver insightful information on a consistent and standardized basis to enhance management decision making

4. Handle daily reporting requests

5. Support migration and testing of new reporting systems

6. Be an active participant in the change management process

Translate data analysis into process opportunities for operation department

QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Technical skills:

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office environment with strong Excel skills

System- and BI-oriented (knowledge of Tableau Software and ERP systems are assets)

Ability to participate in multi-cultural, multi-linguistic operating environment

Generic skills:

Quick understanding of logistics processes

Fluent in French and English (both spoken and written)

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This role is based at EURO DC Liege in a normal office environment

Incidental travel will form a part of this role (0 to 2 times per year)

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Analytics)

EXPERIENCE

0-2 years-experience in an Analyst position (Logistics or Inventory Analyst) (with a strong analysis orientation)

Experience working for an international organization is desirable
