CloudOps Team Lead | Int'l HQ | Hybrid work - Bricsys - Gand

We have an excellent career opportunity for an experienced CloudOps Team Lead to join our growing international R&D team!

Leading a small team, you will be working on the backend of our web based Common Data Environment (CDE), Bricsys 24/7. By doing so, you will be part of a larger international R&D team that aims to develop an intuitive and user-friendly environment for effective collaboration throughout design and construction.

Your key responsibilities include

• Setting up monitoring and maintaining the current cloud infrastructure of our global SaaS solution Bricsys 24/7.
• Migration of the current legacy project towards a secure, scalable and highly-available fully-containerized architecture running on Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to help create reliable and frequent releases for software and updates. This could include, but is not limited to, testing of new features, identifying solutions that may impact the product for cloud deployment, building automation tools, standardizing technologies, and improving operations efficiency.
• Provide multi-layered technical expertise for next generation initiatives.
• Identify, analyse, and resolve system design weaknesses.
• Develop, analyse, and maintain tools that support and automate processes for product releases.
• Manage continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) tools with the team.
• Recommends and makes changes and enhancements to improve the quality of products and procedures.

Your profile

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform infrastructure
• Experience managing a Kubernetes cluster
• Solid knowledge of networking and Linux administration
• Experience with Docker, GitHub, Jenkins or other build pipelines
• Ability to learn and/or use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools
• A good understanding of CI/CD
• Experience in managing small teams
• Fluent in English
• Experience with the Spring ecosystem is a strong asset.
• Deep knowledge of scripting languages (i.e. Python, Bash) is a strong asset.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-a-code tooling (Terraform, Chef, Puppet, ..) is highly desirable.
