YOUR ROLE As a Cloud Engineer, you’ll bring your knowledge of Amazon Web Services, DevOps, and modern application development & security practices to operate a best-in-class cloud-native infrastructure. Bold Penguin’s platform powers the shopping experience for over 2 million customers every year, and our customers rely on our system to be available 24x7 365 days a year. If you take pride in running a cloud-native infrastructure using continuous delivery pipelines, this is the role for you!

WHAT YOU'LL DO · Manage multiple development, test, and production infrastructures with AWS CloudFormation and continuous delivery pipelines. · Design, build and operate our cloud security architecture to achieve business, security, and compliance objectives. · Participate and lead agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups. · Work cross-functionally with product management, quality assurance, and software engineering to ensure 99.99% uptime and availability. · Be a hands-on software engineer when needed who puts the “Dev” in “DevOps”.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS · Previous experience with AWS CloudFormation, Sceptre, Packer · Proficiency with AWS  CodePipeline, ECS, S3, EC2, IAM, ELB, RDS, Control Tower, and CloudTrail. · Excellent working habits; ability to be clear and concise in speech and writing to technical and non-technical audiences. · Ability to pick up new technologies quickly.
