Job Title: Business Process Analyst

SHIFT: Day – 37 hours per week

WORKING PATTERN: Monday to Friday

As part of the OneVision team responsible the global implementation of Oracle EBS within CooperVision, the Business Process Analyst role is for someone to join the team who can be a subject matter expert and represent the Global Logistics and Supply Chain functions within the One Vision project and be part of the Global Logistics and Supply Chain Development Team

Responsible for working as part of that team and with multiple stakeholders, to provide functional and subject matter expert support and guidance for the OneVision project and the Global Logistics and Supply Chain teams, to ensure we are building the right standardized globalized processes and solutions for the future.

The BPA will participate in consulting with the business, mapping of the current business processes, gathering and analyzing data to help design the future processes, then support the development, testing, training, implementation and post go live support, as we implement our new systems and processes throughout CooperVision. During the transition period in Liege, the BPA will support any necessary data conversion activities and ensure data integrity. On top of it, he/she will support the building of the inventory in the ASRS as well as the conversion of the pick-to-light picking systems.

The initial focus will be within Europe (and especially Liege DC), after which we will roll out the systems and processes globally. This role involves travel as well as working closely with other functional areas, including commercial, to ensure we are building optimized end to end supply chain solutions that improve availability, OTIF and the service we provide to our customers

Essential Functions

  • Working with and supporting the OneVision team with the Analysis, Design, Build, Test and Deploy phases of the OneVision Project
  • Process mapping of current and future states of the local / regional / global business processes for Global Logistics and Supply Chain (Logility for planning and JDA for warehousing)
  • Preparation of documentation and reporting on all phases of the project (business process documentation, procedures / work instructions, solution design, build documentation, the test scripts and training material)
  • Assist in the testing and training of the new local / regional / global business teams prior to go live, then provide post go live hyper-care and support for the users until the new processes and systems are bedded in.
  • Participates in the prioritization, strategic direction, performance analysis and action plans for Global Logistics and Supply Chain, including capturing metrics to monitor and evaluate the performance of specific processes, leading to continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Builds and sustains strong relationships, provides persuasive communication and works as an advocate for Global Logistics and Supply Chain
  • Responsible for master data conversion in key systems, as well as development and documentation of processes with other functional data owners to support ongoing maintenance and data integrity.
  • Identifies areas for data quality improvements and help to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction.
  • During the phased transition period in Liege, support PTL transition, slotting and inventory building of the ASRS

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Work across organizational boundaries to document and develop functional and technical specifications and support for the design, development, testing, and maintenance of new processes
  • Intimate knowledge of existing processes in their functional areas. Additionally, knowledge of the information that is required for cross-functional processes will be required.
  • Strong business analysis, analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical personnel at various levels of the organization
  • Ability to adapt to a fast and dynamic environment and to effectively translate between functional and technical teams
  • Ability to follow complex processes and procedures and to map process flows and produce/maintain supporting documentation
  • Ability to resolve simple to complex business system problems in creative ways, excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
  • Highly self-motivated, self-directed and attentive to detail, extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment, whilst still maintaining a detailed accurate, high quality output
  • Ability to communicate effectively and to drive workshops and facilitate discussions at all levels, including with management

Work Environment:

  • Normal office environment
  • Extensive contact with employees and external business partners
  • Travel required 25% of the time. There may be times/projects where 50% will be required.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in systems implementation, preferably in a global ERP implementation is a plus.
  • Experience in functional business processes, functional requirements writing, test script and use case development and documentation is a plus.

Education:

• Bachelor's of Science Degree in relevant field
