Siemens Intra Plant Logistics solution (IPL), also known as Material Management, enables a Lean flow of materials between the warehouse and shopfloor. It helps factories world-wide to reduce inventory and waste by optimizing usage for higher turnover and removing excess material from the shopfloor. It enables data-driven manufacturing and full automation of material delivery between workstations and uses integrated manufacturing analytics for materials supply optimization.

Works with product marketing and sales on the product launch and go to market strategy to ensure that the product is successful in the marketplace upon release.

Continues to work with Product Management, sales and product marketing to manage the product through its life cycle to ensure it meets established goals for revenue and customer satisfaction.

Performs essential activities across multiple complex products or possibly across product lines.

Has a say on critical decisions regarding product lines - expansion, direction, etc. Including pricing, packaging, etc. across the product line. Represents company plans and product line strategies to industry analysts.

Additionally, performs various marketing duties in collaboration with our Marketing team, support of product marketing, market research, internet-related marketing, and advertising. Performs market analyses as needed. Will be involved in editing, writing, and producing marketing materials. May attend trade shows and industry-related events as a representative of the organization.

Area of responsibility
  • Pipeline review & risk mitigation
  • Single point of contact for assigned customers to the IPL Start Up.
  • General sales / pre-sales support
  • Communicate sales project progress to stakeholders through meetings and timely status updates.
  • Work closely with internal and external teams to track deliverables
  • Responsible for the management and delivery of business projects.
  • Define value proposition and main pillars
  • Examine new requests and determine business viability
  • Go To Market
  • Conducts analyses, investigations and evaluations for the company's products and services with regard to existing and potential markets, and on different ways of marketing products and services.
  • Define value prop to target industries
  • Manage the creation of Marketing materials (in collaboration with the Siemens Marketing Team)
  • Provide Sales & channels with materials
  • Assists product managers or customer support in performing marketplace and customer surveys
  • Set the Price Structure and determine list prices
Skills and Abilities Required:
  • Preferable knowledge on Intra logistics
  • Ability to manage teams across multiple time zones and geographic locations.
  • Experience in developing detailed plans for complex projects, with changing requirements, resources, and deadlines.
  • Experience in project management concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively
  • Strong English verbal and written communication and follow-up skills
  • Ability to build credibility and trust with team members, customers, and senior management.
Education and Experience Requirement:
  • Typically requires three to five years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
