Business Controller

We are currently looking for a Business Controller (Permanent Position).

Our Department

[PIAS] Finance department counts over 25 employees across several offices in Europe, and is mainly based in Brussels and London, both covering local and international functions.

The Role

[PIAS] offer a broad range of services on a multi-territorial basis. The Business Controller, will be responsible for the Reporting and Controlling of some Territories. The successful candidate will report to the Finance Director BNL/GE/Other EU.

Tasks and Responsibilities include

Preparation of quarterly management reporting’s (Actuals, Forecast & Budget) for [PIAS] entities
Prepare and Develop key financial controls and processes and implement recommendations.
Participate on the Statutory Closing of the [PIAS] entities:
- Reconciliation between the accounting and business information
- Active follow up of the P&L and balance sheet
- Preparation of Management Reporting Closing figures
Distribution costs:
- Ensure accurate and timely booking and recharge of distribution costs
- Prepare monthly distribution costs reporting and analysis
Prepare monthly Overhead and Marketing costs reporting and analysis for different [PIAS] entities
Prepare the Weekly Sales by collecting the data and comments from local MD’s
Assist in performing in depth analysis to support the business in their decisions, and provide timely feedback on their specific queries
Support Finance Team in Ad-hoc projects

Profile

Experience in Financial Audit (min 2 years of experience in a similar function)
Master degree in Finance, Management
Fluent in English and Dutch or French; trilingual is an asset
Analytical mindset, details oriented
Able to cope with a changing environment
Pro-active, flexible, skeptical mindset and dynamic team player
Eager to deliver high quality results
Capable of understanding complex business models
Goal-setting & time management
Excellent Excel knowledge
Passionate about music
