Bioprocessing Project Leader - SUT Expert - Sartorius Stedim Biotech - Belgique

The Single Use Technology expert will provide customer with process analysis, process design, and process engineering skills, along each step of customer process development to ensure successful design, validation and implementation of Ready-to-Use assemblies in compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices and regulatory requirements. She/he will intervene in complex multi-products and multi-sites projects coordinating Sartorius multi-disciplinary Technical Teams and ensuring process consistency across different KA locations. She/he will be dedicated to a key account, will be responsible for defining and implementing the strategy for single use technology (SUT), for introducing and maximizing new Sartorius technologies in existing and future molecules.

The Single Use Technology expert will provide customer with process analysis, process design, and process engineering skills, along each step of customer process development to ensure successful design, validation and implementation of Ready-to-Use assemblies in compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices and regulatory requirements.
She/he will intervene in complex multi-products and multi-sites projects coordinating Sartorius multi-disciplinary Technical Teams and ensuring process consistency across different KA locations.

She/he will be dedicated to a key account, will be responsible for defining and implementing the strategy for single use technology (SUT), for introducing and maximizing new Sartorius technologies in existing and future molecules.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

Actively contribute to sales growth in SUT by identifying new

opportunities at customer site together with local Sales and Application
Specialists in accordance with the defined strategy for the Strategic Account

Project Management : internal follow-up coordination (from quotation

until product delivery)

Process survey, designs review and optimization
Coordination of local Sales and Application Specialists involved in SUT

applications (Fluid Management, Separation and Cell Culture Technologies)

Involvement in all major SUT projects, including interaction with

Integrated Solution

Contribute to the standardisation of the SUT systems at Key Account site

by aligning the Key Account Single-Use strategy to Sartorius

Contribute to the definition of SUT strategy by reporting market information

and trends from Key Accounts and competitors to Marketing and Product
Development

Actively contribute to innovation

Qualifications and skills:

Technical education (preferably Biotechnology)
At least 3 years of successful experience in process development or

process/manufacturing support

Relevant technical knowledge and extensive industry knowledge

(pharma/biotech)

Good knowledge of Single-Use (ready to use – not linked to a particular

business area)

Self-driven
Ability to manage complex issues using innovation and processes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Teamwork skills and proven ability to also work with cross-functional

teams

Autonomy, results and customer oriented
Fluid in English
Willingness to travel up to 20%
