Based in Melsele, close to Antwerpen, and reporting to the HR Manager in France,you will provide professional and proactive administrative support in a multi-cultural company. You will need to be results driven with a commitment to achieve against tight deadlines and have a positive and resilient attitude. The candidate has a background in payroll as well and will liaise with the Group payroll provider to deliver each month accurate payslips.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
- Ensure the effective organisation and administration of all HR disciplines from recruitment and new employee induction through training and development, and performance appraisal to end of contract.
- Liaise with payroll provider to ensure that monthly data processed in pay is correctly set up and ensure that all relevant variable information is up to date.
- Employee relations case management including note taking and administration of disciplinary and grievance cases.
- Make sure that Group processes are followed up and applied in Belgium. If necessary, ensure the adaptation of those processes to local requirements.
- Confidential processing of employee information on an HR system – currently SAP Success Factor
- Carry out HR induction for all new starters and keep induction packs up to date
- Provide the HR Manager during defined HR meetings
- Actively participate in any HR initiatives and support the HR Manager in rolling out key ad hoc projects as required
Show your expertise
- Administration experience and payroll experience with proven records
- Excellent organisational abilities
- IT literate with intermediate level in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Robust character with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Ability to work unsupervised, demonstrate initiative, strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Ability to deal with all levels of the organisation, up to senior management level
- Maintain good lines of communication with all areas of the business and external stakeholders
- Fully understands the need for confidentiality and to be discreet
- Fluent in Dutch and English, good level (intermediary minimum) in French.
