with an interest in clinical research for the function of Secure Data Officer – Mechelen

Job Description

Mission / tasks

In this job you get the opportunity to perform all necessary activities related to receipt, conversion and sending of secure data (Pharmacokinetic data, Pharmacodynamic data, immunogenicity data, etc.) in support of clinical trials.

You will be responsible for the upload of external data, and you will create and run SQL scripts in order to create the correct datasets in the clinical database.

Of course creation and review of the specifications and requirements of the deliverables as well as QC of datasets to be delivered to our sponsors is also part of the challenge. All of this in respect to the agreed upon timelines.


 

Qualifications

You have obtained a bachelor or master’s degree in IT/Biomedical IT or you have relevant proven experience on your track record.

You have good knowledge of PL/SQL and Databases.

As a Secure Data Officer you liaise with clients and external data providers so excellent knowledge of English and good, open communication skills are essential.

On the technical side you have knowledge of SQL Programming. Other programming experience is an asset (e.g. SAS, PL-SQL, …)

You are quality minded and you have an eye for detail so that you can support quality control.

And of course you are positive and constructive, you have a professional attitude towards colleagues, team members and clients.

To get all this done, you have very good time management skills and you know how to cope with stress. Of course you get the support of your team manager and colleagues!

Any relevant job experience is of course an asset!
