The Junior Commercial Manager contributes to ensuring that contracts and projects sold by NTT result in sustainable profit for the organisation. They achieve this objective by collaborating with other NTT stakeholders in the preparation, tracking and general management of the commercial aspects and financial strategy of client contracts.

Working at NTT

  • Assist with the preparation of the commercial parts of sales proposals for submission to clients
  • Assist with review of the pricing and costing
  • Contribute to ensuring client proposals and contracts clearly incorporate the necessary assumptions, terms and conditions for optimal commercial and financial engagements.
  • Work closely with legal to ensure compliance and mitigate risks for example, but not limited to, the calculation and payment of penalties, contract termination and so on.
  • Work closely with the solution leads to ensure costs for contingencies or mitigations of risks are included in our financial offer.
  • Ensure proposals are well backed with subcontractors and vendors
  • Evaluate financing, leasing and accounting impacts of deals
  • Perform detailed commercial contractual and financial analysis on complex sales opportunities
  • Present key pricing assumptions and risks for sign off at relevant levels, in line with the authority matrix
  • Assist with/lead or participate in the negotiation of deals with clients
  • Provide input into the qualification of tenders and presales engagements

What will make you a good fit for the role?

  • The candidate has at least 2 years’ experience in a finance analysis or controlling role
  • Working experience in a similar IT / IT Services / Telecom / ... environment with multinational exposure and focus on large and complex service deals, is an advantage
  • Commercial acumen with a good understanding of the company business and the way it operates, as well as its key business drivers.
  • Excellent knowledge of Dutch, French and English (working languages)
  • High skills in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Powerpoint …) are required. Skills in SAP and SFDC would be an advantage
  • Analytical, autonomous, communicative with no-nonsense approach, direct but diplomatic, hard worker (no 9-to-5 mentality), flexible, solution and client-minded, team spirit, organised, eye-for- detail, result-oriented, eager to learn, strong business acumen
