Your tasks:

  • Promote sales and develop the business in the indicated region
  • Direct and effectively close projects throughout the entire sales cycle
  • Establish new customer relations and drive sales successfully forward
  • Meet our annual sales targets by prospect identification, tendering, deal optimization and closure of contracts
  • Remain close to our customers and be responsible for developing and establishing our customer relationships
  • Build trust and develop a deep understanding for our customers’ business case to create ideal value propositions
  • Stay up to date on the market trends as well as customer and competitor activities
  • Contribute to the development of Berner’s commercial strategy

Your profile:

  • Commercial or technical education as well as previous experience in the field, ideally in a pharmaceutical, biotechnological or medical environment
  • We expect you to bring at least 3 years of work experience in sales, ideally in the laboratory business
  • You will bring excellent contract negotiation skills, be creative in finding solutions, keeping the strategic and economic goals in mind
  • You are motivated, resilient, love to travel to our customers and have a team-oriented way of working
  • You are fluent in English, Dutch and French - ideally also in the German and Flemish language
  • You are skilled in ERP systems, e.g. Proalpha and MS Office
