Job title: Senior Analyst

Department: Operations Unit: Ingest Content

Reporting to:  Team Leader

Role: Support Global Ingest Content Operations by leading the research, monitoring, collection, and maintenance of reference data used to process Nielsen metered viewing estimates across our US Television business. Drive strategic change, adhere to best practice standards, provide premier customer support, and participate in improvement processes for the team.

Responsibilities: Build and maintain a proficient subject matter knowledge of Reference related applications, processes, data, and SLA’s. Execute most complex process, system, and data-related Reference tasks & functions with quality, accuracy, and timeliness for a portfolio of assigned work.  Understand the relationship & flow of Reference data to upstream & downstream processes. Understand Reference strategies and processes to ensure product quality and client satisfaction, and lead continuous improvement of products, processes, and/or services. Provide counsel, subject matter expertise, and direction to colleagues & junior level Analysts. Provide client-facing support & communication efforts, ensuring premier customer service. Author and interpret report out material, process maps, context diagrams, and value streams as needed. Develop and report key performance metrics that provide insight into operations health and control, and that align with client/market needs. Serve as Operations liaison, partnering with Data Science, Engineering, Infrastructure, Application Development, Client Service & Product Leadership stakeholders as needed. Define & maintain standards around process, procedure, training, certification, and deployment for production deliverables. Scope & author business requirements for new or existing systems within area of expertise.  Plan & document user acceptance testing for Operations, including an ability to author/validate operations based test material & understand software testing concepts.   Provide primary level incident/problem management & resolution support, providing short term triage and long term solution support. 

Required: Proficient working knowledge/experience of Gracenote/Nielsen Television Reference-related systems & applications. BA/BS degree or equivalent demonstrated experience.  Ability to lead, facilitate & communicate clearly, tactfully & professionally.   Ability to develop compelling & persuasive presentation material.  Strong interpersonal and organizational communication skills that develop effective relationships with stakeholders.  Proficiency with Google Suite and MS Office Products.
