Actuary traineeship - insurance risk

Would you like to know how KBC gains insight into the risks that insurance companies run? Would you like to learn how to identify, quantify and manage the different risks? Then the internship as a risk manager within the Group Risk Insurance team offers you a unique opportunity.
You will be part of a driven team that actively supports you and helps you grow.

During your internship you will ...

• work in an international context and broaden your horizon to all insurance entities within the KBC group;
• learn how to identify and quantify the risks of the KBC Insurance group and its subsidiaries
• acquire knowledge of third party commercial risk measurement software used in KBC for Solvency II calculation and reporting
• sharpen your analytical skills and learn to gather and challenge information. This information is needed to support our own view on the capital required and to report to senior management
• report on the identified risks and related measures.

Furthermore you will...

• intensively cooperate with colleagues from many different functions and countries (Local Risk, Risk modelling, Finance, ALM, ...)
• strengthen your communication skills so that you can easily explain the evolutions to a varied audience, including top management.
