Parkwind N.V. is an independent green energy company that develops, finances, and operates offshore wind farms. With more than a decade of experience and 771 megawatts under operational management, Parkwind has four operational windfarms in Belgium and is currently developing projects in Germany (Arcadis Ost 1 – 247 MW) and Ireland (Oriel Windfarm – 330 MW). Your role:

Tasks and responsibilities:

As Accountant you will be responsible for the following tasks of some group entities (including foreign companies):

- A to Z accounting

- You perform the monthly and year-end closing according to the group procedures;

- You prepare the monthly VAT return and assist with other legal obligations;

- You are co-responsible for the statutory accounts and assist in the preparation of the annual accounts and corporate tax returns;

- You provide support in the preparation of the monthly reporting and participate in the processing of the necessary monthly analyses;

- You assist with internal and external audits;

- You are involved in ad hoc projects and analyses (e.g. incorporation and set-up accounting of new foreign companies);

- You report to the Accounting Team Lead.

Requirements

Your profile:

- You have a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy-Taxation;

- You have several years of experience in an accounting function and have knowledge of statutory and analytical accounting;

- You work in a process-oriented way and respect different deadlines;

- You are flexible and able to work in a challenging and changing environment;

- You have an affinity with taxation;

- You are fluent in Excel and have experience with bookkeeping in an ERP system;

- You are fluent in Dutch and have a good knowledge of English (oral and written);

- You have a pro-active attitude and are a good communicator.
