Job Summary
At Avantor, we are currently looking for an Account Manager to support our customers (Healthcare portfolio, mainly hospitals and private labs) in the South region of Belgium and GD Luxembourg.

Our ideal candidate is, just like us, very passionate about the laboratory world and would like to share his/her passion by building strong relationships with existing and new customers, spot sales opportunities and make them happen! You ask the right questions and will act as a true advisor for customers within Healthcare, by providing the right solution.

Location: Remote, preferably in the South of Belgium
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • You will be responsible for the sale of chemicals, consumables, equipment & services to both existing and new customers, mainly in healthcare segment in Belgium (Region South) & GD Luxembourg.
  • You will have financial objectives to achieve based on targets fixed by Avantor. A part of your role will be to coordinate sales actions for your customers.
  • You work as a strong team player in a team & are focused to achieve sales & customer satisfaction.
  • You have a high presence with your customers, you are the face of Avantor to the outside world.
  • To support your work, a strong team of Product Specialists, Customer Service Employees, … will give you the support needed for your work.
  • You have a close collaboration with Product Specialist to create an excellent contact with customers & have recognition of expertise by our customers.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
  • You have successfully obtained a higher scientific degree; work experience is not required but can be an asset.
  • Knowledge of pathology is preferred.
  • You have agility with IT tools ( CRM, website, excel, word, etc. )
  • You like to learn about products & you are hungry for knowledge
  • You have obtained a thorough knowledge of the laboratory world or/and production environment through your studies or work experience.
  • You are fluent in French both written and spoken and have a good knowledge of English. Basic knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
  • You have obtained your driver’s license.
